Pakistan Textile City is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Pakistan Textile City is an industrial zone dedicated to textile processing and allied industries. Established in 2009, with a total area of 1250 acres, the estate is located in the Eastern Industrial Zone of Port Qasim Karachi, 6 km from the National Highway.


The Federal Government of Pakistan owns 40% of Textile City, while the Sindh Government owns 16%. National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) owns 8% of the company, while Export Processing Zone owns 4%, Saudi Pak Insurance Company owns 4%, National Investment Bank owns 4%, Pak Kuwait Investment Company owns 4%, Pak Qatar Investment Company owns 4%, and PIDC owns 1%.

The Pakistan Textile City project is currently on the verge of failure, resulting in a massive loss to the national exchequer, as the government pays around Rs 400 million in interest on bank loans each year. Textile City's debt exceeds Tk 2.4 billion as a result of mismanagement and corruption.
